According to the People's Daily Online, "Wen(Chinese Premier) reviewed the smooth and sound development of bilateral relations, expanding economic and trade cooperation and increasing exchanges in various fields in the past 33 years of diplomatic ties."
China regards Greece as a good partner in Europe and is looking forward to increasing high level government contacts as well as people-to-people contact. Greece supports one Chinese policy, and is extending cooperation to help China with the upcoming Olympics.
