According to the Bangkok Post, "India is working on free-trade agreements with China, Japan and South Korea and on growing trade with other Asian nations, which could usher in a pan-Asian free-trade area, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said Friday.
India, which has a "vital stake" in the prosperity and stability of Asia, had renewed its commitment to regional economic cooperation with its "'look east' policy," Singh said in an address at the annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank in India's southern Hyderabad city. "
