According to the news report published in The Sydney Morning Herald,"The Administration(Bush administration) has used an annual report to intensify pressure on China to deal with such long-simmering trade disputes as the piracy of copyrighted music, movies and computer software, which American companies say costs them billions of dollars a year in lost sales and fees."
The report, with special emphasis on China, says that the Chinese government had failed to protect intellectual property, stop the rampant piracy of software and merchandise, and has not made an effort to stop the smuggling of these illegal good to USA.
