Brazil's economy

According to the CIA factbook, Brazil has a huge manpower pool of 90.41 million (2005 est.), and the fact that 68% of the population belongs to the productive 15-64 age group adds to the advantage.

    Major export trading partners: US 22.9%, Argentina 6.2%, China 6.2%, Netherlands 5.8 %, Germany 4.3%
    Major imports: machinery and electrical equipment, chemical products, oil
