Google EBay Showdown over "Checkout"

Ebay has announced that it will not allow Google's Checkout to be used as a payment system in its site.


Checkout, a payment system developed by Google is seen as Paypal's(EBay)rival. Ebay has denied that this move against Checkout is retaliatory. The company said the Checkout was not approved because it could not satisfy them in terms of reliable service and a proven track record.

Google launched Checkout last week.
